Amazing Bible Prophecy Coming True

Amazing Bible prophecy coming true

One out of every five verses in the Bible predicts the future. That makes the Bible unique. No other writings foretell what is to come in quite the same way.

Certain Bible prophecies, such as those which predicted the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, as well as those which said that Israel would be scattered throughout the earth, have been fulfilled. Other prophecies speak of events which have yet to transpire. One such prophecy concerns the regathering of Israel into the Promised Land, and an astonishing change that is going to take place in Jewish thinking and practice.

To fully appreciate how remarkable the prophecy is, we need to know how much effort Jews make in remembering the Exodus from Egypt.

For 3,500 years, Jews have relived the story of the Exodus at their annual Passover meal. Every sense is employed at this meal to remind them, and the next generation, of the miracle that God accomplished when He brought Israel out of slavery in Egypt.

The story of the Exodus from Egypt is told at the Passover meal and they sing songs from the Bible. Special food such as bitter herbs are eaten to remind them of the hardships from which they were delivered. Children are engaged in play-acting and are rewarded for their participation.

All of this is done, at God's command, so that they will not forget their deliverance out of Egypt.

However, the time is coming when God is going to do such an incredible miracle that they will ignore that Exodus. The prophecy is to be found at ( Jer 16:14-15 ) and is repeated at ( Jer 23:7-8 ).

According to these verses, the emphasis of 3,500 years of tradition in the Passover meal will change from remembering the Exodus out of Egypt to remembering God bringing Israel back from exile throughout the world. The process has already started – a fact that is worth contemplating.

When the regathering of Israel is complete, the passages in Jeremiah tell us that God will restore them and they will be established in their own land.

Already, one out of every three Jews alive today has been regathered to the land of Israel. The Bible says that God will bring them all back and "leave not one behind" ( Eze 39:28 and Micah 2:12 )

The Bible also says that God will make them so prosperous that the entire world will be in awe – literally, their mouths will drop open in astonishment – at the abundance that He will pour out on Israel( Jer 33:6-9 ).

The Bible also says that it is there, in the Promised Land, that Israel will meet her Messiah. It is in the land that God promised to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob where the remnant of Israel will be saved ( Eze 20:40Rom 9:27; and Rom 11:25-27 ).
