End Time Technology1
End time technology – fulfilling Bible prophecy
Matthew 24:14 "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as atestimony to all nations, and then the end will come."
One of the signsgiven by Yeshua HaMachiach (Jesus the Messiah) that indicate His coming and the end of the age was that the Gospel would be preached throughout the world.
Jewish men praying at the Western (Wailing) Wall, man is forefont is usinga wireless headset. His cell phone’s GPS can track his every move.
Today, technology not only allows us to travel the world to personallycommunicate the Gospel, but it allows us to reach people in the furthest partsof the globe through cell phone, radio, television, and the Internet (live-streaming, video-chat, and email).
Although technology is being used to give us "security," could it oneday be turned on us?
There are cameras placed everywhere in buildings and even elevators. Manymodern shops that you enter are taking live video of you. When you parkyour car in an underground parking space, you are probably being monitored.
You just can't get away from it.
Surveillance, a growing reality: China’s Golden Shield Project, which isowned by the Ministry of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China(MPS), is a gigantic online database to improve police capabilities that willinclude CCTV, face and voice recognition, credit records, and Internet usagewhen it is finally completed. Such systems exist in most countries.
Surveillance video is common in many public places, and when that footageis combined with face recognition software, you can personally be identifiedand tracked if the authorities choose to do so.
And because it’s so affordable, most homes and apartments are getting"wired-up" as well; and for all you know, your own neighbor is monitoring you.
Small towns to large cities are using stationary cameras to catch speeding carsand monitor traffic from towers and electric lines above the streets and highways.
Today, the technology exist that can photograph you in a live feed that links into a database tracking your every move.
It's obvious that prophecies in the Book of Revelation are being fulfilled,
We are at the end of the age with Yeshua's return drawing near.
"When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near." (Luke 21:28)
It's scary, but interesting and perhaps exciting at the same time.
After all, look at the conveniences available today that were not around even10 years ago.
Take for example the iPhone.
The latest iPhone, which uses voice-activated SIRI, and Android phones as well, can "talk" and remind people of upcoming events or get information for them.
It's like having a personal secretary in a phone.
IPhone GPS: The blue dot in the center of the screen indicates the locationof the person holding the phone.
Today, there are so many convenient cell phone apps (applications).
There are even apps that can identify whatever song is playing on the radioand provide links to purchase the music.
Did you miss last night's news broadcast? No problem, a flick of the fingerbrings up the latest network news program in video form, right on your phone.
Or the new TuneIn app puts live local and global radio in the palm of your hand.
All of this is available anywhere in the world through cellular technology, which connects to cable wires at the bottom of the seas and oceans and tosatellites orbiting the earth.
Big Brother and End-Time Technology
But wait a minute. Isn’t there a downside to mobile phone technology? What about the GPS device now found in them?
It's real handy when you are trying to find your way around town. But itcan also be used by the authorities to track you, whether or not you agreeto this.
For instance, a man's cell phone was used by local police to track hislocation when his heart transplant had become available, and he couldn’t bereached by his family.
He had a window of just a few hours to have the transplant, and the police
found him in a concert hall where he was deliberately not answering his phone.
Unlike his family, the police had access to tracking him via the GPS chip
in his cell phone, and the man was rushed to the hospital. This was a positiveuse of technology by the authorities.
Nevertheless, this also indicates that the authorities can potentially track us"anytime and everywhere!"
In fact, having a cell phone means that you will never be alone. In a sense,it might be said that Big Brother is watching you, for good or evil.
And few people these days can function without a phone.
End-Time Travel and Knowledge
"But you, Daniel, roll up and seal the words of the scroll until the time ofthe end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge." (Daniel 12:4)
The Book of Daniel prophetically reveals events that appear to encompassmuch of history, including the end times.
Daniel 12:4 seems to indicate that the end times will be characterized by anability to travel and a thirst for knowledge.
Has there ever been a time such as now, in which average individuals wereable to travel from one end of the world to the other, either for business orpleasure, with relative ease and affordability?
As an example, Israel with a population of only 7.8 million, recently had asmany as half a million (500,000) of its residents travel abroad during thePassover holiday. And millions of tourists visit Israel each year from the 234countries and territories around the world. None of this was possible a generation ago. We are perhaps living in the most exciting generation of all time.
What about Daniel’s prophesied increase in knowledge?
Although it took several hundred years to develop steam power, in the 20thCentury, it took only six years to make an atomic bomb.
Knowledge, and the ability to harness it through technological advances, isgrowing by leaps and bounds.
The Internet and End-Time Legislation
Today, the Internet alone makes it possible to ask any question and get ananswer through Google or another search engine.
There seems to be no bottom to the depth of knowledge and informationavailable through the Internet.
For example, if Google is asked what Lincoln was wearing when he wasassassinated, in little under a second, there are roughly 35 million responses.
Wiki Answers gives a quick answer: "He wore a great coat made by BrooksBrothers, bow tie, black boots, and his famous top hat."
This same friendly search service, however, may also be keeping track of allof your inquiries, and all the websites you visit on your computer.
US Congressman Lamar Smith introduced the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA)in an effort to expand the ability of U.S. law enforcement to fight online trafficking of copyrighted intellectual property and counterfeit goods.
All this information can be made readily available to any government agency for a price.
Under the guise of stopping computer piracy, the government is attempting to pass legislation such as SOPA, PIPA, and ACTA, that would enable the federal government to avoid legal oversight in order to seize more control over web content and communications.
A newly introduced bill known as The Cyber Intelligence Sharing andProtection Act (CISPA) is essentially legislation that would allow the federal government to access and monitor the online communications of all Americans.
So, the Internet is a two-edged sword that provides access to limitless information while at the same time having the potential to track every key stroke.
Even your Internet activity can be a testimony to a lost and dying world of your faith in Messiah.
Although the Internet is a powerful and valuable tool in today’s modern age, it’s the way that we use it that says a lot about who we are and what we stand for.
End-Time World Government
Revelation 13:7 "It was given power to wage war against God's holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation."
Bible prophecy indicates that in the last days, there will be a one-world government(Revelation 13:7).
Indeed, the United Nations, NGO’s, UN peacekeeping force, World Trade Organization, and the International Criminal Court, as well as numerous other agencies are pressing toward global governance.
The mounting threat of terrorism-not to mention the conflict in the Middle East-make people so fearful, they are willing to give up individual privacy for increased security.
Recent developments in biometric technologies seem to be directed at taking away our privacy and may help to fulfill end-time prophecy.
While those that promote them always stress such points as security, convenience, improved quality of care, speedier and more efficient delivery of goods and services, a look at their very nature make it difficult not to associate them with the end times.
Here are some examples:
ÔÇó A Japanese firm (Hitachi Kokusai Electric) recently developed a security camera that stores faces that pass by it in a searchable biometric archive. It can scan 36 million faces per second to find its target, scanning through days of Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) footage in an instant.
This technology will be available within the next year to companies requiring large-scale surveillance systems.
Systems like this will enable any government agency to locate people instantly through the use of a passport photo or a photo on a Facebook page.
Walt Disney World, Lake Buena Vista, Florida they take biometric measurements from the fingers of guests at Disney World to ensure that a ticket is used by the same person from day to day.
ÔÇó Several US school districts have introduced palm scanner systems to identify students purchasing school lunches.
Instead of showing a lunch card or paying with money, students now wave their palms in front of a scanner. The system uses the unique vein patterns that are located under the skin in the palm of each student's hand to identify them.
Palm-scanning biometric technology by Fujitsu is being touted as superior by the Japan-based Ogaki Kyoritsu Bank, which says that cardless authentication would have been helpful to the survivors of last year’s earthquake and tsunami who, having lost their cards and passbooks, were unable to access to their accounts.
This technology will be rolled out this September in Nagoya with the slogan “You are the cash card.”
Another unique identification device used by the Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) collecting the image of your iris, by looking into it, for Aadhaar, a 12-digit unique number that the UIDAI will issue for all residents in India.
ÔÇóIndia, which claims 1.2 billion residents, has recently begun a program that allocates a Unique Identification Number (UID) to every single individual.
Three methods are used for identification: fingerprinting, iris scans, and photos of the face.
ÔÇó The technology now exists to embed RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) microchips not only on products but also inside a person's skin.
Today, RFID technology can be found embedded Walmart products, which helps the company to track stock. Indeed, RFID initiatives by Walmart and the US Department of Defense spurred and stimulated this technology.
An Electronic Product Code (EPC) RFID tag used by Walmart.
When it comes to embedding people, rice-sized capsules that transmit signals which can be tracked through a GPS (Global Positioning System) can be implanted in the skin so that a person's whereabouts can be recorded day or night.
The device can be used to record a person's entire medical history as well as sensitive financial information.
Many Bible Believers think this technology-because of its tracking and financial applications-might be what Scripture calls "the mark of the Beast."
Revelation 13:16
"It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name."
An RFID chip, which is implantable in products, pets, and people, next to a grain of rice.
Due to technology and communications, the world has becoming a tiny place.
With governments looking for a global solution for terrorism and the international financial crisis, it will be no surprise when one day we wake up to a "one-world government" headed by the anti-Messiah (anti-Christ).
Revelation 13: 4 "People worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked, "Who is like the beast? Whocan wage war against it?"
Time is short.
Please stand with our ministry in the Holy Land, where the anti-Christ (anti-Messiah)is to set himself up in the Temple and deceive the Jewish people.
Our ministry is at the center of where the End-Times will unfold.
