MESSIAH PIERCED FOR OUR TRANSGRESSIONS

Isaiah chapter 53 gives an extremely detailed account of how Jesus would die the anguishing death on a cross, even though this method of execution had not been invented yet. Jesus took the punishment that was due for you and me, because no human could pay the price for sin. It is that price that allows us into the presence of the Holy Father for all eternity.
