Christian Identity

The Christian’s osition(Do you know who you really are ?)

Even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.Ephesians 1:4

The search for identity and meaning can drive one to great successes or tragic failures. For the Christian, however, the question is answered throughout Scripture.

We are chosen (Matthew 22:14)

Out of the world(John 15:19)

Predestinated heirs(Romans 8:17Ephesians 1:5)

Accepted in the beloved who (Ephesians 1:6)

Purchased us through His blood (Ephesians 1:7)

Redeemed us from all iniquity, (Titus 2:14)

Our sins are forgiven (Ephesians 1:7)

Covered,(Psalm 32:1)

It was cast behind God’s back, (Isaiah 38:17)

Removed as far as the East is from the West, (Psalm 103:12) remembered . . . no more.(Jeremiah 31:34)

We are even conformed to the image of his Son and (Romans 8:29)

Cleansed from all unrighteousness.(1 John 1:9)

We are chosen! We are selected as a favorite out of many Matthew 22:14For many are called, but few are chosen.Out of the world John 15:19The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you. What a privilege! We are God’s choice to bear His name, represent His cause, and share His glory throughout eternity. In fact, we are predestinatedEphesians 1:5 God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure..If we are His children, then we are heirsRomans 8:17And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering.Furthermore, we have been “accepted in the belovedEphesians 1:6 So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son. That word, “accepted,” is a specialized form of the word most often translated “grace.” We have been “graced” by almighty God, who has set absolute boundaries around our lives and made us His children. We were purchased “through his blood” Ephesians 1:7 He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.Redeemed from all iniquity just for Him.Titus 2:14He gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds. Moreover, our sinsare forgivenEphesians 1:7He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. And coveredPsalm 32:1Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight!Cast” behind God’s backIsaiah 38:17 You never let me tumble over the edge into nothing. But my sins you let go of,threw them over your shoulder—good riddance!(The Message)Removedas far as the east is from the west” Psalm 103:12He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west.Remembered . . . no moreJeremiah 31:34 “And I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins.” Cleansedfrom all unrighteousness1 John 1:9But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. Finally, we are predestined “to be conformed to the image of his Son we would be supreme.Romans 8:29For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.Hallelujah! Since we are God’s children, we should have no identity crisis. We are a chosen, predestined, accepted, redeemed, forgiven, and holy people. Amen
